How do I get started
in order to sign up for Remote Automatic Backup?

Lukin via e-mail or phone at 516.263.5897 in order to set up your
free 2 week trial account.
We will confirm your e-mail address and e-mail you the backup software
for installation. The file is 1.6 MBytes, and when installed, uses 6
MBytes of hard disk space. Operations will also schedule a time with
you to guide you through the installation process via phone. Installation
will be done at YOUR convenience. In addition to sending
you the software, we will also send you a "readme" with installation
and configuration instructions for handy reference. |

What happens at the
end of the free 2 week trial?
|
| Assuming you wish to
continue to use Remote Automatic Backup,
we will e-mail you an Account Agreement and Invoice covering the
software, installation, and first 3 months of service. This will be
$200.00, assuming 1 GByte (compressed) is backed up. If you have more
than 1 GByte to back up, you will be invoiced for the additional data
after we see how many additional GBytes or MBytes you use. Please note
that this is 1 GByte of compressesed data. Uncompressed, depending on
the file types, you may be able to back up as much as 5 GBytes!

Please note that if you choose not to continue to use Remote Automatic Backup, we
delete the backups you have stored on our servers. |

What do I do after I
receive the account agreement and invoice?
|
Print and sign one copy of
the Account Agreement and Invoice. Mail them back along with your
payment to:

What happens after
Quantalytics receives my Acccount Agreement and payment?
|
| You will be contacted by Operations
at Quantalytics. You will be e-mailed the registration code for the
software so it will continue working. Your backups will continue to be
made, and available should you need them. |
|
What information will
I need at my end to successfully install the software?
|
| You will need to know the
name of your SMTP (sending) e-mail server for e-mail
notification, your e-mail address for notifications in the event of
problems, and your password for sending e-mail, if required by your
e-mail service. (Not all e-mail service providers require a
password for SENDING e-mail.) This is needed
because our software sends e-mail reports of problems with
backups. We use these e-mails to help report any problems to our
clients so that they may take prompt corrective action at their end.
You will also need to decide what you want to back up. E.G.
"My Documents", Shared network folders, Quickbook Workbooks, etc.
We encourage you to backup all your data. |

When do my Remote
Automatic Backups start?

| Immediately after your
installation of the software, if you wish. Our software provides for
immediate backup as well as scheduled backups. Scheduled backups run 7
nights per week, 52 weeks per year. You can back up immediately if you
wish, which is especially useful if you are on the road with a laptop. |

What if I need an
emergency RESTORATION of my data?

Quantalytics to schedule the Restoration.
First, page Operations at 516.230.0330. If YOU DO NOT RECEIVE A CALL BACK WITHIN 15
MINUTES, call 516.295.3230 and LEAVE A DETAILED VOICEMAIL MESSAGE.
We will contact you shortly thereafter to determine if you would like a
file upload of your backups, and schedule it, or if you need CD or DVD
shipped via FedEX or Airborne, as well as another copy of the backup
software to enable you to replace your lost files correctly. We urge
you contact us as soon as possible to enable us to help you. |
